Poland's stock exchange market is growing stronger and more international by the day. Its evolution is helped by the active marketing policy of the Warsaw Stock Exchange working to promote the entire infrastructure of Poland's capital market. These efforts have produced tangible results.

This index is of a particular significance to investors for two reasons. Firstly, it brings together the largest companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, which also generate the largest turnover during trading. Secondly, the WIG20 index is the underlying instrument for futures contracts, which for several years have enjoyed great attention from investors.
