New Turbo Certificates on GPW

Six new Turbo structured certificates based on US stocks are now available on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The companies underlying the new certificates are among the largest globally recognised brands with clients using their products and services worldwide.

  • New Turbo certificates based on stocks of: Berkshire Hathaway, Booking, Coca-Cola, Exxon Mobil, Spotify, and Super Micro Computer
  • The issuer of the certificates is ING Bank N.V.
  • 11 Turbo certificates based on US stocks are now available on GPW
     

Starting on 31 May 2024, new Turbo structured certificates are available on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) on the stocks of six of the largest globally recognised US-listed brands: Berkshire Hathaway Inc. – B, Booking Holdings Inc., The Coca-Cola Co., Exxon Mobil Corp., Spotify Technology SA, Super Micro Computer Inc. Turbo certificates are structured investment products that allow investors to make a return both on upward and downward price movements of the underlying instruments, also using leverage. The underlying instruments are leading indices of selected world stock exchanges, commodities, currency pairs, as well as stocks of the largest Polish and international companies. Turbo certificates were first issued by ING N.V. in the Netherlands in 2008. The product is also available to investors in France, Germany, and Poland. The instrument is addressed to active investors and those who accept an above-average level of investment risk.
Global giants

The US companies that are the underlying instruments of the new certificates on GPW are:

  • Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (Class B) – US conglomerate, one of the largest publicly traded companies in the world, managed by Warren Buffett and headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.
  • Booking Holdings Inc. – US provider of online travel and restaurant booking and related services. The company offers its services under six consumer brands: Booking.com, priceline.com, agoda.com, Rentalcars.com, KAYAK, and OpenTable Inc (OpenTable).
  • Exxon Mobil Corp. – oil company formed in 1999 by the merger of Exxon and Mobil. Founded indirectly by John D. Rockefeller, who established Standard Oil. The corporation is headquartered in Irving, Texas.
  • Spotify Technology SA – Swedish company founded in 2006, offering instant access to the world of music. Its shares have been listed on the NYSE since 2018. The company is known worldwide for its streaming platform which offers both free ad-funded and paid premium subscriptions.
  • Super Micro Computer Inc. – US-based IT company that designs, develops, manufactures and sells x86 servers for Intel and AMD processors.
  • The Coca-Cola Co. – one of the world’s largest producers, distributors and marketers of soft drinks. The company is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The company’s largest sales market is the United States.


Tracker certificates based on the DAX Net Return index price issued by ING Bank N.V. were newly listed on GPW at the end of April 2024. These are the first Tracker certificates of this issuer on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. With certificates issued by ING Bank N.V., investors on the Warsaw Stock Exchange have access to 51 different underlying instruments from around the world, including the Magnificent Seven stocks (Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Nvidia, Tesla).
